Functions

Main Lapa

š    The Lapa can accommodate up to 100 guests, depending on the different requirements.

š    The Lapa is available for private functions on everyday except Wednesday, Friday & Sunday.  Should you wish to hold a function on these days a minimum of 80 people is required.

 

Kitchen Area and Boma

š    The Kitchen area can accommodate up to 30 people depending on requirements.

š    The Kitchen area has some resistance against rain.

š    The Boma area can accommodate up to 20 people depending on requirements.

š    The Bome area is complete open and is weather permitting.

š    These areas can be used together for one function at an additional cost (please see section under venue fess).  A minimum requirement of 40 people is set for such a function.

 

Please note: There is various other options also available.  Please contact us or arrange for a meeting to discuss these options.

 

Conditions:

š    The outer area of the Lapa is reserved for other clients and will be served by the waiters.

š    A service fee is applicable on all functions held.

š    For private functions own music or entertainment is required.  Should you wish to make use of Local Artist please contact before hand.

š    Music must be turned down from 22h00 and turned off by 24h00

š    Private functions must be confirmed within 2 days from making the reservation by means of a venue fee applicable to the specific area.  Deposit may vary from time to time depending on availability, the time of the year and the requirements.

š    Should no deposit be received or arrangements made prior, the reservation will be accepted as cancelled and the next person will be accommodated.

š    Cancellation fees:

o       A cancellation fee of 50% will be charged should the function be cancelled 3 weeks prior to function date.

o       A cancellation fee of 100% will be charged should the function be cancelled less than 3 weeks prior to function date.

š    Final numbers and full balance of the function must be paid no later than 7 days prior to the function date.

š    Dιcor is the responsibility of the client.

š    Die Bos will provide all cutleries for the function.

š    Kitchen Area            from 12h00 till 17h00        R       0.00

š    Boma Area               from 12h00 till 17h00        R       0.00

š    Boma Area               from 18h00 till 24h00        R       0.00

š    Kitchen & Boma      from 12h00 till 18h00        R   500.00

š    Kitchen & Boma      from 18h00 till 24h00        R   500.00

š    Kitchen & Boma      from 12h00 till 24h00        R1 000.00

Goeie middag Ek wil net graag uitvind of die volgende datums beskikbaar is die 5 de Junie en die 12de Junie. Dan wil ek ook net graag weet of ons, ons eie spyseniering kan doen asook of ons wyn, fonkelwyn en bier mag inbring. Moet ons ook self sorg vir eetgery, tafeldoekke, grase en opmaak van die saal. I would like more info and a quote for 50 people for the 12th June. Please let me know what menu's are available as well as the cost. Is it possible to make an arrangement for the music to continue until 02h00? What will the cost be? I have already arranged a DJ so I will not require this. I would prefer an closed off area for a seated dinner and then a area for dancing afterwards. The birthday is in the middle of Winter and I am not sure if the venue will be able to accommodate. Please let me know.

Goeie middag. Wil graag by julle uitvind. Indien ons 'n "suprise" party wil hou, vir om en by 40 mense, watse venue sal julle voorstel daarvoor - en sal daar enige kostes daaraan verbonde wees?
